My work is based on systematic geometry and contemporary minimalism. It focuses on order and controlled deviation within a defined structure.
THE CONSTANT SERIES
The Constant Series is based on a strict 8 × 8 grid that functions as a constant structural system. The series is limited to eight deviations.
Within this fixed structure, each work introduces a single deviation. The works examine repetition, optical uniformity, and the tension between structural form and material presence.
MATERIAL AND TECHNIQUE
My work engages with textile traditions, informed in part by my Peruvian background, with a focus on geometric reduction and order.
Each piece is constructed in silk on linen and realised by specialists following a predefined system.
The process connects material knowledge with a clear and controlled visual structure.
